Our environment is one in which high performance is expected; in return, we will provide you with rewards and opportunities tailored to your personal and professional goals.The OpportunityThe role: Client Services ManagerWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Services Manager to join our team and lead the Client Services / Front of House group in Brisbane.You will build key internal relationships and maintain and develop strong external relationships with suppliers and service stakeholders to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and service delivery.If you are passionate about creating great results, supporting and developing others, and bringing your best, we would love to hear from you.Day-to-day, you''ll be responsible for:Consistently reviewing Client Floor and Front of House procedures to ensure an exceptional standard of operation, encouraging a proactive approach to the continuous improvement of processes to adapt to the changing needs of the business and market trends.Proactively developing professional relationships with partners and key stakeholders, having a sound understanding of their needs. Delivering a service and product appropriate for their requirements.Supervising the delivery of technology services by being a subject matter expert on all client service technical capabilities and ensuring that all relevant staff are appropriately trained in delivering this technology.Leading and supervising the team to provide an environment where cohesive, solution-oriented teamwork and delivery is paramount. Providing coaching where required.Setting, training and monitoring of skills and standards to ensure efficient delivery of events and meetings on the Client Services floor.Proactively searching for new and innovative ways to improve the client experience.Ensuring the smooth running of functions and events on the client floor and off-site.Providing support to the Regional VC centre and webinar team by ensuring that a premium standard of operation is provided on the client floor.Regularly assessing and updating rostering requirements with available resources, including alternative forms of resourcing to reflect changing business requirements.Management of all audio visual, beverage and food suppliers by having a technical understanding of what is required.Fiscal responsibility and management of operations to ensure efficient utilisation of available resources and that supplier agreements are maximised.Ensuring that the reception area, and all public areas, are maintained to a high standard with appropriate Herbert Smith Freehills promotional material available. Also, ensuring that Herbert Smith Freehills branding guidelines are always adhered to in all public areas.Meeting and liaising with Business Development, Legal Practice Administration Managers, Partners and Clients regarding event planning and service needs.With the assistance of Human Resources, managing Client Services staff recruitment and performance management processes.Preparing and delivering annual Client Services staff career conversations, monitoring performance, and following up with structured, periodic reviews.Ensuring that Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines are always adhered to.Ensuring that FoodSafe accreditation is promoted and maintained by providing staff training and appropriate record keeping.Attending regular Business Services meetings to ensure sound cross-communication of firm projects, client floor use and practice group issues and feedback.Managing relationships with national Client Services Team Leaders to ensure national consistency of procedures and services, where appropriate, and promote cross-communication of Client Services issues.To be successful in this position you will have:Demonstrated experience in a professional services firm or a luxury hospitality environment.Staff supervision, leadership and development skills.Proven ability to think ahead, set high standards for quality and quantity and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Demonstrates financial awareness and understands accrual-based accounting.Experience with negotiating and liaising with suppliers.Demonstrates an ability to successfully understand Client needs and communicate with all levels across the firm.Proven experience in working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.What you can expect from us:Were a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 5,000 professionals.
