Job Description

NES Fircroft is seeking a Project HSE Manager on behalf of our client, a global EPCI. This will be a 12-month contract with potential for extension. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all design, procurement, construction, and installation activities are conducted in strict accordance with the Client HSE Requirements, HSE Standards, applicable local legislation, and International Standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001). Staff and manage HSE design and site personnel. Develop and implement Project HSE plans and procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Define HSE strategies for the entire project and review designs from an HSE perspective. Conduct pre-construction surveys, identify safety criticalities and environmentally sensitive areas, and design mitigation measures. Assist project engineering and management teams with Risk Management processes such as HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management, and Risk Assessments. Participate in accident/incident investigations. Support construction teams in HSE Risk Management and Occupational Safety Risk Assessments. Identify potential emergency scenarios and develop emergency preparedness and response plans. Plan and conduct HSE audits at project sites and for contractors. Monitor, analyze, and report HSE performance to corporate/organizational bodies. Identify HSE training needs and develop training programs and awareness campaigns. Promote periodic HSE reviews and ensure proper close-out reports are completed. Implement Health Management Systems and set up MEDEVAC procedures. Identify significant environmental aspects and develop management plans. Qualifications and Experience Required: 15 to 20 years of industry experience, with 5 to 10 years in a Project HSE Manager role. Knowledge of HSE audit techniques and capability to conduct inspections to supervise procedure implementation on site. Experience with Event Investigation techniques, data analysis, and reporting of HSE events. Knowledge of HSE Emergency Management, including potential emergency scenarios and mitigation actions, and capability to organize emergency drills.
