The Role As part of the Commercial and Project teams, the Contracts Administrator will assist in the commercial administration of Contractors and Subcontractors across a multi-million dollar project based in Yatala. Responsibilities include: Providing contract support for claims, variations, and compliance. Developing and maintaining contract documentation, including Contract Administration Plans, correspondence, and registers in conjunction with the Commercial Team. Reviewing systems like Commnia and Gallagher for Contractor compliance (insurances, licensing, management plans). Assisting with HSE audits and contractor compliance breaches. Preparing and maintaining Risk Registers and Management models for projects, to be included in reports. Liaising with commercial, finance, procurement, accounts payable, and the project team to resolve equipment delivery, invoicing, and payment issues. Supporting project managers with report formatting and data extraction. Assessing contractor claims and preparing Payment Certificates. Assisting with project budget reporting and forecasting. Managing document standards and administration. Handling expense and travel management. About You You should have prior experience in a similar role within a complex construction environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Essential qualifications and skills include: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Business/Commerce, Law, or equivalent. Previous experience as a Contract Administrator in construction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Advanced experience with Adobe Pro. Understanding of document control processes. Exposure to SharePoint or similar software (desirable). Experience with project correspondence management systems like Aconex, Asite, or Commnia (desirable).
