Our services include Stormwater Works, OSD, Rainwater Tanks, Concrete Works, and Design / Engineering. We have built a reputable and reliable business serving the civil, residential, and commercial sectors with dedication, excellent workmanship, and a client-first attitude.Due to the continued growth of our business into new sectors, we are seeking a Junior Estimator & Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with an experienced Project Manager and Estimator, receiving comprehensive training to develop your skills and deliver exceptional service to our clients and partners.Roles & Responsibilities:Filing and reviewing tender and other documents.Supporting the Project Management, Estimating, and Operations teams with daily tasks.Undertaking quantity take-offs and detailed estimates using estimating software.Managing the flow of information from clients to the team.Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met to high standards.Preparing detailed project estimates.Coordinating with site foremen to order materials and schedule inspections.Monitoring project costs and managing monthly progress claims.Reviewing design and engineering plans.Assisting with WHS compliance.Conducting site visits for on-site measure-ups.To be considered for this role, you must:Hold a current Australian Drivers License.Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a junior project coordinator or estimator.Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Experience with estimation software such as Cubit is advantageous.Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team.Be proactive and take ownership of tasks.Working hours:Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.Pay Range:$27 to $32 per hour, to be discussed during the interview and based on skills and experience.Note: All new employees will start on a casual basis for an initial 3-month period.
