$70,000 per year + super + 17.5% leave loading The Marketing Assistant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day marketing activities for the marketing department. The role will also assist the National Marketing Manager with all hotel activities and work with internal and external stakeholders. This position is fully on-site, office-based, with a Monday to Friday schedule. Please note, there are no work-from-home or hybrid options available. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee campaigns aimed at promoting products, services, and causes. Create, manage, and distribute marketing collateral including promotional brochures, campaign materials, and hotel/brand collateral. Support the National Marketing Manager with brand campaigns and other activities. Distribute marketing collateral to all hotels. Monitor and respond to marketing inquiries. Assist in social media monitoring and photo shoots. Support the marketing team with administrative tasks, including calendar management, collateral stock control, deliveries, and dispatch. Ensure brand standards and consistency across all hotel properties. Collaborate with departments and Hotel Managers to fulfill requests. Manage marketing invoices and POs with the accounts department. Monitor and track VIP program items. Monitor competitor activities to maintain brand competitiveness. Liaise with external suppliers, designers, and agencies. Ensure marketing activities are executed effectively and on schedule. To be successful in this role: Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing role, preferably in hospitality. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Proficiency in technical marketing tools and requirements. Experience managing projects and campaigns, with a proven track record of timely delivery. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). Key Attributes: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail. Strong work ethic.
