About The Role As a Leading Worker in our Rapid Response & Signage Team, you will lead a team in responding to safety-critical incidents, oversee maintenance tasks, and ensure safe operation of equipment. This role combines field leadership, technical skills, and community service, ideal for someone ready to lead from the front. Key Responsibilities Lead and support your team in rapid response and signage maintenance. Inspect, identify defects, and repair playgrounds and structures. Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently. Plan and schedule daily work activities and resources. Install and repair signage according to standards. Perform pothole repairs, graffiti removal, litter clearing, and other maintenance tasks. Coordinate with external contractors and supervise as needed. Maintain accurate records using digital systems. Mentor apprentices, trainees, and new staff. Identify opportunities for service improvements. Communicate professionally with team, other departments, and the public. Promote and follow safe work practices. Minimum Requirements A current MR Drivers Licence. Experience leading teams and scheduling work. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Competency with tools, plant, and digital systems (e.g., Confirm & Confirm Connect). Relevant certifications (e.g., Level 2 Playground Inspection, chainsaw competency). Knowledge of Australian Standards for Playground Equipment and Signage. Why Join Us?
