The Opportunity Skill Development: Enhance your skills while providing services across pitt&sherrys core markets, particularly in the booming Renewable Energy sector, Mining, Industrial, and Transport planning. Diverse Projects: Engage in a variety of projects, covering a wide range of environmental management aspects such as environmental impact assessments, contaminated land management, land use planning, feasibility studies, development approvals, and more. Professional Growth: Collaborate with experienced senior professionals to deepen your understanding of environmental assessment and management principles, delivering practical and economical solutions. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative work environment. Project Contribution: Play a key role in delivering environmental and planning projects, working across the entire project lifecycle. This includes risk identification and management, fee/proposal preparation, scoping, planning and implementation, report preparation, and tracking project budgets and timelines. Fieldwork and Research: Undertake fieldwork, monitoring, research, and reporting to support project delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes. Collaboration: Work closely with our in-house engineering and stakeholder engagement specialists, and manage external subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution. What You Bring Tertiary Qualified: Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional Experience: You have 2 to 5 years of experience focusing on Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Management, preferably within consulting, industry, or construction sectors. Legislative Knowledge: You possess knowledge of and experience in implementing Tasmanian planning and environmental legislation, policies, and guidelines. Diverse Expertise: Your experience spans various areas, including environmental impact assessment, environmental monitoring, community and stakeholder engagement, construction environmental management, and contamination investigations and reporting. Analytical Skills: You are adept at sourcing, collating, and interpreting environmental and land constraints information. Project Management: As a self-starter, you are developing strong project management skills, including managing project risk, budgets, timeframes, and client requirements.
