Our people are advising on Australias largest Property and infrastructure projects including high end residential, defence, wind and solar farms, NSWs and a wealth of property projects across a number of sectors.Due to growth we are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious Quantity Surveyors to join our expanding team in Sydney, Australia.Joining an International CompanyJoining a small but rapidly growing team with opportunity to have an influence on the national growth of the service line and businessWorking for the Director of the Sydney Office but part of a wider RPS teamBusiness who Values its people and is Culturally DiverseWorking on a Variety of SectorsAbout The JobMeasuring and estimating of construction costs and cost planningProducing project budgeting for feasibility studiesContract administration and reportingAssessing project risk and cost reporting for financial institutionsLife cycle costing and replacement reportingAbout YouTertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Law or EngineeringHigh level of verbal and written communication skillsKeen judgment and decision-making abilityProblem-solving and troubleshooting capabilitiesUse of critical thinking, logic, and reasoningExceptional negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, confidence and professionalismA strong, financial and commercial acumen is a must, and the accurate preparation of cost plans, as well as in identifying new projects and working with team leaders to build relationships for future projects.Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office, and preferably CostX (not essential)Ability to collaborate as part of a high-performing teamMeticulous attention to detail and accuracy of workPossess a strong work ethic, good organisational skills and can meet strict deadlines within a fast-paced working environmentWhat''s On OfferYou will have the opportunity to work with some of the most influential and talented leaders in the industry.
