We are seeking a new leader to join our school district as an elementary principal. This role is at Small Elementary School which has just over 200 students in K-4 and is one of five elementary schools in the South Portland School Department. Small School also is home to our district K-4 social, emotional and behavioral special education programs. In-depth knowledge of special education is required; and we have a preference for a candidate with proven leadership in this area.We are seeking a dedicated and visionary leader to strengthen family engagement, implement effective student support systems, and promote equity in education.
