You''ll help develop and implement effective procurement strategies, collaborate with various stakeholders and provide strategic guidance to the team.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership as a senior team member, offering guidance and leading by example.Assist in the development of procurement strategies that focus on innovative solutions to address complex contractual challenges.Manage complex, high-risk contracts, including the creation of sourcing strategies, preparation of tender documents, conducting evaluations, and overseeing contract formation and management.Lead commercial and legal negotiations with suppliers, following an agreed negotiation plan to ensure business requirements are met efficiently.Collaborate closely with project leads, engineers, site-based construction teams and other project delivery professionals.We''re looking for someone who has:A strong understanding of construction projects.Solid experience in contract management and category strategy development.Proven experience in leading contract negotiations and managing risks.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.*Only Perth based applicants will be considered for this role.To express your interest in this opportunity, please apply to the link below or contact grace.ashworth@marsrecruitment.com.auSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionIndustries: Oil, Gas, and Mining #J-18808-Ljbffr
