Here, you''ll be supported in progressing whatever your ambitions.About the role:The purpose of the EH&S Manager position is to provide leadership to drive continuous improvement in Environment, Health & Safety performance, while ensuring comprehensive operational compliance at our Coventry, RI location. The manager sets direction for and reinforces the importance of Environment, Health & Safety in the organization, manages the overall Environment, Health & Safety program, including development and implementation of strategies, policies, and practices, and works with the plant senior management team to integrate Environment, Health & Safety performance into plant operations. The role also involves designing, planning, and performing engineering duties related to the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental health hazards, including waste treatment and pollution control equipment related to hazardous chemical sterilization.This role requires onsite work at our Coventry, RI location.Your responsibilities will include:Develop, maintain, and review the EH&S program to ensure compliance with current and future legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.Ensure compliance with all environmental regulatory permits and authorizations.Provide system and component design to reduce negative environmental impact.Serve as a technical advisor on environmental policies and standards to ensure regulatory applicability.Prepare and submit all regulatory reports.Perform and maintain FMEA for all regulatory failure modes and develop resource management schemes for compliance.Gather and analyze data to identify environmental risks and recommend mitigation measures.Evaluate technical systems and integrate latest technologies into pollution control systems.Document and maintain plans, requirements, protocols, permits, and SOPs.Maintain and socialize KPIs reflecting environmental performance.Actively manage site-wide ethylene oxide emissions and achieve reductions.Inspect facilities and programs to evaluate operational effectiveness and compliance.Report and escalate non-compliance issues.Assist in budget planning and implementation.Required qualifications:Bachelor''s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in related fieldsExperience with EPA & Air Quality regulations, technology, and modeling3+ years of leadership or mentorship experienceAdvanced MS Office SkillsPreferred qualifications:Hands-on experience with analytical, mechanical, and compliance softwareFamiliarity with quality assurance, documentation regulations, and best practicesExcellent research and report-writing skillsStrong troubleshooting skillsExperience with process safety management and risk assessmentsProven communication, influence, and interpersonal skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
