Job DescriptionWe offer an extensive and highly supportive branch network, competitive products and pricing, and exceptionally strong local operational support to help you achieve your business development objectives.Develop a list of prospective new clients and engage in new business development activities required for adding new customer relationships on a consistent basis.Call on existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing relationships.Develop and service a wide variety of clients through providing secured and unsecured loans or lines of credit ranging from $5MM to $75MM in credit exposure.Guide the credit department or junior officers in the analysis of credit opportunities and the development of appropriate credit approval request documents.Establish and recommend appropriate loan structures, products, and terms, within established lending limits, with input from the manager.Monitor current loans and credit lines within the assigned portfolio, with assistance from the Portfolio Manager, to ensure complete compliance with loan terms and bank policies.Required SkillsAdvanced sales and marketing skillsUnderstanding and proficiency in working with credit legal documentationDemonstrated ability to review and evaluate documentation for riskExperience with regulatory, compliance, and due diligence requirementsCommitment to updating job knowledge through educational opportunitiesUnderstanding of bank operations and familiarity with the credit processStrong organizational, reasoning, and communication skillsSelf-motivated and independent with the ability to multi-task, balance a demanding workload, and meet critical deadlinesProficiency in PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsRequired ExperienceProgression in a commercial careerFive or more years of credit analysis and portfolio management experienceThree or more years of commercial lending experience, with strong credit skills and a record of success in developing, maintaining, and closing new businessAbility to utilize deductive and inductive reasoning to solve problemsAbility to understand new information and apply it for future problem-solving and decision-makingOur goal is to offer our colleagues the most generous benefits package possible, including competitive compensation with performance incentives, health and dental insurance, a 401K and DC Plan, LTD & Life Insurance, vacation time, daycare reimbursement, tuition assistance, wellness programs, and more.At Rockland Trust, you''ll find a respectful and inclusive environment where everyone is given the chance to succeed.
