This pivotal role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep industry knowledge and a proven ability to drive revenue growth, nurture client relationships, and lead by example.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet revenue and growth targets.Leverage your extensive network within the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors to identify and secure new business opportunities.Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of client projects.Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategies.Maintain and grow a robust pipeline of opportunities.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).Extensive experience in business development within the civil engineering or infrastructure industry.A strong network of contacts within the industry, including clients, contractors, and stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage and grow business pipelines effectively.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven mindset.Exceptional organisational and time management skills.Why join the CJC team?At CJC we believe our people are at the centre of our organisation and we recognise that they are the key to our success.
