The Casualty Claims Teams are responsible for designing and delivering excellent claims experiences to customers and partners while maintaining strong financial and portfolio outcomes.Responsible for delivering financial and operational metrics, including meeting Duration Severity, ALAE, Fraud, and Recovery outcomes.Supporting a team of 16, overseeing their performance, preparing reports, and analyzing data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.Providing technical support and strategic guidance to the team on complex and large claims.Developing talent through coaching and mentoring, accommodating team members with varying experience and skills.Fostering a high-performance, people-led culture within the Complex Crew and Enterprise Claims.Ensuring team compliance with all internal, legal, and regulatory requirements.Delivering the Quality Assurance program, supporting audits and reviews, and providing meaningful feedback.Collaborating with Underwriters, Risk Managers, Actuaries, and other stakeholders to monitor financial performance, product profitability, and sustainability.Managing and engaging with preferred Supply PartnersAssessing, Legal, Forensic Accounting, Investigatorsto ensure service adherence and focus on cost benefits.Important to your success - Unlock your potentialTo succeed, you will need:Tertiary qualifications or substantial relevant experience, including knowledge of Liability and Financial Lines Products.Experience in large loss management, operations, and claims portfolio management.Strong understanding of the GI industry, related products, legal, and regulatory frameworks.Leadership skills, including strategic thinking, conflict management, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and presentation skills.People management experience.Knowledge of or experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.An understanding of customer experience integration and dependencies.Belong.
