The Position: As an Enrolled Nurse (EN) at Respect, you will be responsible for delivering safe and competent clinical nursing care to residents while adhering to the standards set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the health and well-being of our residents. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Compile comprehensive histories from residents and/or family members to identify care needs, participating in resident admissions and ongoing assessments. Maintain high-quality documentation that accurately reflects care delivery. Complete ACFI assessments and documentation as required for each shift, contributing to the maximization of income. Assist in the implementation, contribution to, and evaluation of resident care plans as directed by your supervisor. Administer medications to residents and take responsibility for correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. Meet legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry. Requirements: Successful completion of a minimum Diploma of Nursing or equivalent. At least 1 year of post-graduate experience, preferably in aged care. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care. Current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire one. Knowledge of government standards for aged care delivery.
