Located only 1.5 hours from the popular towns of Byron Bay and Coffs Harbour.Job DescriptionWhat you will do:Reporting to the General Manager, you will consider yourself a confident and absolute ''all round'' Resort Manager. This varied role will see you build and maintain successful relationships and a positive work culture, to enhance guests and stakeholder relationships. You will provide a versatile approach in leadership and management to support in all areas of operations, from Food and Beverage and Events, to Housekeeping and Grounds. You will also:Provide a versatile and hands-on approach to supporting your teams to ensure quality standards, effective communication and consistency across all areas of the Resort''s operation.Maintain leadership credibility in all areas of the park operation by exhibiting consistent high standards of personal ethics.Build a strong guest-centric culture empowering our team to prioritise guest satisfaction, actively seek feedback, and consistently deliver exceptional experiences.Focus on enhancing employee culture and retention.Assist in ensuring teams are resourced accordingly and participate in recruitment activity as needed.Ensure that all employees receive a thorough park and department induction and sufficient on-the-job training.Liaise with the General Manager regarding significant maintenance issues, repairs and additional projects.Support the General Manager to monitor and manage key business performance indicators.Monitor and maintain a high standard of safety for all guests, visitors and employees.This is a rewarding and challenging experience for the right person - no one day will be the same.What you will bring:You will have previous experience as an Operations Manager, Hotel or Resort Manager in a large property with Food and Beverage and Events.You will be able to demonstrate experience in leading or overseeing teams and driving a positive team and guest-focused culture.An ability to understand employment awards.Experience managing financial budgets in respect to incremental revenue targets, labour, operating costs and monthly re-forecasts.You will have experience working in an environment where initiative, organisational and advance planning skills are essential.You will demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of an operational team who are hands-on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.You walk the talk and can communicate to team members, guests and stakeholders of all levels.Previous experience in food and beverage, or events-based related management is an absolute bonus.Whats in it for you?At Parks & Resorts we are not just about discounts (although you do get these too).
