Our experience in service delivery is reflected through more than 50 years of maintaining the highest of standards for our residents.Role SummaryThe Facility Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Residential Aged Care Facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across clinical care, workforce management, financial performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Facility Manager plays a vital role in fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, representatives and employees.Responsibilities And DutiesEnsuring compliance with all relevant standards, legislations and policiesOverseeing the provision of personal care services, nursing care and recovery plans that are in place across the facilityResponsibility for overseeing the management of staff, including performance, recruitment, rostering, training and cultureEnsuring that the facility is operating within budget, and operating in line with funding requirements and assessments, all whilst looking for ways to optimise revenue for the facilityCreating a feedback-positive workplace that makes staff and residents feel valued for their input and seeks to act on the feedback receivedThis role is located at our charming residential aged care facility in Midland and will be hired on a permanent full-time basis.Skills, Attributes And ExperienceWe are looking for a significantly experienced and clinical aged care professional who has a track record of high performance within the sector. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working within aged care, and a strong commitment to the excellent provision of residential services. They will have highly developed leadership and communication skills, including an ability to converse with people from all walks of life and an ability to bring people along on the journey with them. We are also looking for someone who has elite organisational and time management skills, which allows them to keep a cool head in the face of pressure/deadlines and make composed, logical decisions that serve to benefit all involved.Key Criteria Includes The Below:Appropriate tertiary qualifications and current AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseSignificant experience gained within management or supervisory capacities within the aged care sectorFamiliarity with the AN-ACC funding model, and the preparedness to assist the facility through future changes to aged care fundingPossess or willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and an unrestricted driver''s licence.Midland Nursing Home is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
