Health, Safety, Environment & Training Coordinator - FIFO NTJoin the Exact team and work on our long-term civil and road construction projects in remote Northern Territory.Application Deadline: 29th April, 2025We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environment & Training Coordinator to join our team for long-term civil & road construction projects in the Northern Territory.This role reports to the Project Manager and the National Safety, Training & Quality Manager.It is a hands-on operational role, often requiring work in hot, dry, and dusty remote locations.Responsibilities include:Ensuring compliance with legislated safety and training requirements, as well as company and client safety standards.Promoting a Zero Harm environment aligned with our company''s vision & core values.Coordinating safety programs to meet contractual obligations.Maintaining safety registers, including the project training matrix.Conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company and client systems.Facilitating training and inductions, both paper-based and online.Coordinating and delivering toolbox talks and pre-start meetings.Investigating and reporting on accidents and incidents.Reviewing and developing risk assessments and site-specific safe operating procedures.Providing regular WHS statistical reports to management.Offering coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance.Maintaining and ensuring compliance of records in line with WHS legislation.Qualifications and experience required:Relevant WHS qualifications (minimum Cert IV)Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE116 preferred)Strong understanding of mine site & legislative WHS requirementsExperience in construction and civil industries in similar rolesExperience developing safety programsExcellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and ability to work within a teamPre-employment requirements:Pass a National Police Clearance, pre-employment medical, and drug and alcohol screeningAbility to work in remote locations under extreme conditions for extended periodsAbout our company:Founded in 1992, ExactContracting has a strong reputation in the Civil, Mining, and Agriculture industries, providing high-quality services to diverse clients.
