Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAs a Project Manager, you will be an integral member of the Environmental Services Senior team reporting directly to the General Manager Western Australia. We are looking for a Project Manager to provide project guidance on high-profile demolition and rehabilitation works in the mining, oil and gas, and defence sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to provide oversight of complex staged works.You will demonstrate a strong risk-based approach that manages key stakeholders, oversee technical methodologies, and are accountable for the overall cost, time and WHSEQ deliverables. A key requirement of the role is to demonstrate visible initiative at the project site to promote a positive safety culture, that also assists in developing careers for all of our McMahon employees.This role is responsible for but not limited to:Manage project financial performance and reportingManage subcontractor selection, engagement and performancePrepare, evaluate and implement quality assurance plans and other mandatory technical documentationPlan and manage timely and efficient execution of the project within the allocated budget and scopeProactive stakeholder management and communication to foster collaborative relationshipsShare regular project progress reports with relevant internal and external stakeholdersCommitment to WHS and Environmental standards, to promote a culture of safety-firstDemonstrate problem-solving and leadership skills, foster teamwork and guide project team and external contractorsAbout YouAs the successful applicant you will have:Demonstrated experience in project management within demolition and construction is preferred. Construction experience in high-risk environments in resource and/or industrial sites is mandatory.Experience in Project cost control budgeting, procurements and forecastingExcellent management skills and the ability to inspire others and create a great culture, managing a diverse team.Problem solving and decision-making abilities overlayed with a strategic mindset.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders.Experience in using Microsoft professional suite and ideally experience with Project Management platforms such as Pronto XI, Procore, Aconex, P6 Primavera and Adobe (or similar) and a range of Microsoft Office 365 applications.Willingness to travel to regional construction sites when required, LAHA and Project allowances provided in addition to base salary.About McMahon ServicesMcMahon Services is one of Australia''s largest privately-owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations.
