Responsibilities of this role will include:Build and maintain low latency connections to global trading venues covering both order gateways and market data feedsManage and coordinate connectivity with a variety of FIX brokers, managing the projects from inception to deliveryMonitor and analyse exchange-facing components, suggest and implement optimizations for the best trading outcomesWork flexibly with a focus on real-time issues as well as long-term projectsPerformance tuning, maximizing throughput, and minimizing latencyWhat you will bring:Development in either Java or C++A scripting language, preferably PythonExperience working in a High-Frequency Trading firmExperience working in both Windows and Linux environmentsSolid understanding of network protocolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA genuine interest in financial marketsStrong academic record with a computer science degreeExperience with some or all of the following.
