This dynamic ward offers a diverse range of services, including acute stroke care, pre- and post-brain and spinal surgeries, neuro-oncology surgeries, and general adult neurology cases such as Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, migraines, and seizures.Reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager, you will provide education and support to nursing and multidisciplinary teams, and develop and implement education programs and documentation in consultation with the Education Manager, aligning with our corporate strategy.This is a Part Time role working 16 hours in the CNE role + a min of one day as an RN.If you are passionate about education and neurology, we would love to hear from you!Who were looking for:Youll have current AHPRA registration as an RN with at least 6 years post registration experience within a neurology and/or neurosurgery setting.Youll have or are currently working towards a Post Graduate Certificate (preferred)Youll have demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.Youll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.Youll have the flexibility to work PPT, 16 hours as the CNE + min of one shift as an RN per week and be able to meet the requirements of the role.Youll have full Australian working rights.About UsAdventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (fondly known as the San).
