We work with clients at all levels of government to deliver an extremely diverse range of logistics solutions - from the distribution of healthcare products, managing the relocation of their employees, delivering fleets of government vehicles, through to helicopter rescue services.Procurement Centre Consultant BrisbaneThe OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Procurement Centre Consultant to join our Government & Defence division, located in Brisbane.As the Procurement Centre Consultant, you will:Make considered purchasing decision of providers/suppliers for removals and storage services, in line with existing contracts and guidelines including Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) & Value for Money rules.Builds strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.Keep relevant parties, e.g. Case Managers, Authoring Offices fully informed with regards to supplier requirements and issues.Compliance with controlled, standardised procedures, inclusive of system useAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will need:Ability to facilitate effective cost controlProcurement or purchasing experience advantageousStrong numerical and literacy skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Problem-solving/conflict resolution skills, ie able to understand and fix issues as they ariseKnowledge and understanding of Logistics & Transport highly regardedWhat moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
