This work usually assists clients in addressing matters relating to commercial, financial reporting, tax, regulatory matters, or strategy.Your key responsibilities:Work within small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets for various purposes including management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting, and disputes.Take ownership for delivery of projects within each team, managing and preparing valuation reports and detailed financial modelling and analysis.Think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel and colleagues.What we look for:Extensive experience in valuation within the Financial Services sector.A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.Possessing a CFA credential or actively pursuing one.Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc.) for different purposes.Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred.Experience conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes is desired.Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills.Ideally, youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes:Having a CA qualification would be beneficial, but it is not essential.An open, curious mind which can help us to enhance the way we work and bring creative solutions to clients problems.Strong teaming skills.
