If you''re passionate about workplace safety and enjoy diverse project environments, this recipe for success might be for you!HSE Advisor - (FIFO) Projects - Recipe for SuccessPrep Time: Full-time, 2/1 or 3/1 rosters (depending on client/project)Serves: Project TeamDifficulty: Challenging but Rewarding for mid-level HSE Advisor (Early Career also considered)Location: FIFO /DIDO to project sites ex Brisbane1 Safety ProfessionalSplash of construction/Civils/or Oil & Gas industry experience1 Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety (essential)1 Construction Industry White CardGenerous dollop of Communication skills1 bunch of organisational abilityWillingness to work on FIFO projects, regional and remote settingsA dash of ICAM certification (optional, but greatly assists results)Method:Preheat your HSE career in a FIFO/DIDO role that will challenge and reward you in equal measure.Mix daily responsibilities including overseeing HSE policies across construction sites, conducting inspections, and building positive relationships with project teams until well combined.Carefully fold in safety leadership by facilitating meetings, toolbox talks, and team engagement creating a rich safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.Sprinkle investigation skills when & as needed to analyse incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent any further occurrences.Knead relationships with key stakeholders including Project Managers, Client representatives, site teams, and the HSE Manager to ensure alignment on health, safety, and environmental protocols.Test your knowledge of construction safety legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards to ensure compliance across all projects.Serving Suggestion: This role offers a dynamic work environment across various project sites, with the satisfaction of creating safer workplaces. You''ll be part of a supportive team that values your contribution to maintaining high safety standards on significant construction projects.Chef''s Notes:Previous experience in civil, oil and gas, brownfields, or other high-risk construction sites will add extra depth of flavour and is considered very palatable to the selection panelMust be comfortable working in a FIFO or DIDO arrangement - Sometimes this will be in regional and remote settingsFAQsQ: Given it''s a FIFO role - does it really matter where I live? Why can''t I FIFO/DIDO from anywhere?A: Sorry, no. There will be occasions between projects where you may be required to work from the Brisbane based office.Q: What''s the dough? ($$$)A: Dependent on experience, but it is not a Senior Level role. It''s paid on an hourly rate. Based on the rosters the earning capacity is good.
