This is chance to be part of an initial piece of work to determine high level requirements and solution selection process.Responsibilities: Document the functional and non-functional requirement for the new Market Maker Monitoring (MMM) system replacement. Document the decision-making process around whether to build an internal solution versus licensing an external solution. Draft up the necessary documents for the client to complete the RFQ vendor management engagement as per the policies. Work with impacted stakeholders to perform deep dives and discovery on the As-Is state of clearing risk management systems for cash and derivatives products, allowing for effective review by project team members and impacted stakeholders. Liaise with assigned Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts for prioritisation, elicitation and analysis of new business requests within the program. Run workshops to identify requirements and evaluate solutions. Perform gap analysis between the As-Is state and the To-Be state. Write high quality user stories and acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements. Use formal modelling techniques to assist in the representation of business requirements. Present and clearly articulate user stories and other business requirements to a wide audience including.developers, testers, vendors and project stakeholders.Mandatory Skills Description:- 5+ years of working experience- Understanding of Market Making: Knowledge of market making in financial markets, including how liquidity is provided and the role of market makers in an exchange.- Exchange Operations: Understanding how exchanges operate, including order books, trade matching, and market maker obligations.- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with any regulatory standards, compliance rules, or best practices relevant to exchanges and market makers (e.g., MiFID II, SEC regulations).- Ability to write clear, precise, and unambiguous functional requirements, specifying what the system needs to do.- Experience in defining use cases or user stories, capturing both high-level workflows and detailed interactions between users and the system.- Ability to create flow diagrams, activity diagrams, and process models to visually represent the system behavior and interactions.- Ability to understand and specify how the market maker monitoring application will integrate with other systems like trading engines, APIs, and data sources.Nice-to-Have Skills Description:- Understanding requirements for real-time monitoring, alerts, and dashboards to track market maker performance and compliance with market making obligations- Proficiency in identifying and defining requirements for data analysis, reporting, and visualization, such as the ability to track market maker activity, trading volumes, spreads, etc.- Knowledge of UML, BPMN 2.0 , or other diagramming techniques to represent system processes and workflowsSeniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Luxoft by 2xSign in to set job alerts for Business Analyst roles.Were unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
