With our ''can-do'' approach and strong client focus, we are constantly achieving and continuing to grow.The RoleAs a Inspection Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Conduct inspections of (mainly) residential and commercial buildings to identify defects, non-compliance issues, and structural failures.Document inspections with detailed notes and photographsUtilise Structerres predeveloped systems and processes to ensure onsite efficienciesPrepare clear, concise, and fact-based reports outlining findings and recommendations.Maintain accurate time tracking, billing records, and project documentation.The OpportunityIn order to be successful in this role you will ideally have:Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).Experience in investigations, building inspections, or defect assessment.Alternatively, be a practical minded person with minimum 4 years experience in custom residential designSelf-motivated and have the ability to complete work with little oversightKnowledge of Australian Building Codes, Standards, and construction practices. Specifically for residential constructionExcellent report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, insurers, and legal professionals.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel for site inspections.Benefits and Culture:We believe that the people we employ are what make us the great company we are today.
