At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to support more Australians achieve their dream of homeownership, because we believe everyone deserves the chance to build their future.About the roleThis role will form part of the Infrastructure and Cyber team within Bluestone. It will encompass development and operational support activities to assist the service desk, security team and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure and VMware) and applications across the business. This role has a requirement to be on-call once every three weeks.ResponsibilitiesDesigning, coding and unit testing infra-as-code, automated deployment code, server side and database level applications within an agile development environment.Assist in the deployment and configuration of software development tools such as GitHub, CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure DevOps, C#, .NET, SQL Server and Web APIs.Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, VMware).Perform access control and vulnerability management, including monitoring and maintaining of system security configuration.Continuously review and actively contribute improve and streamline the development and operations processes.Provide support to the development team in building and troubleshooting the CI/CD pipelines.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure or deployment issues.Build and manage container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.Participate in code reviews, documentation and knowledge-sharing within the team.Support security, scalability and availability requirements of infrastructure and software applications.Collaborate with the developers, QA and operations team to ensure the smooth implementation of changes.Participate in the Disaster Recovery, Backup and Restore activities to ensure the availability of infrastructure and software applications.Manage the Firewall, Switches, Access Points, Locker System in the physical office.Your experience2+ years experience in a related technical support role using automation technologies.Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux systems, including command-line tools.Experience on version control system such as Github and Azure Devops.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.About youAn energetic and enthusiastic outlook to your work with a can do attitude at all times.A demonstrated ability to understand development concepts and terms.Ability to approach issues in a logical manner while constantly updating and communicating with the user.Demonstrated experience working with internal and external stakeholders, i.e. business units and customers.Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.Ability to work under pressure and autonomously in a fast paced and dynamic environment.Confident working autonomously and in a team environment.Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure to meet deadlines.Technical ExperienceIn depth knowledge of a Windows Domain environmentArchitectural experience of cloud providers such as AWS and AzurePowerShell/Bash scriptingInfrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform)Networking and VirtualisationBusiness continuity, disaster recovery, backup and restore processesLoad balancing and high availabilityExperience in supporting DevOps MethodologiesMonitoring and Observability toolsSingle Sign-onIIS supportWindows ServerFirewalls, Switches and Access PointsWhat makes us a great place to work?Our most important asset is our people.
