You will be required to attend site visits across Morton Bay and Sunshine Coast region when in delivery phase.What Youll DoProvide expert technical advice to the Project Delivery and wider program teamsProvide input to reporting on project performance and progress, including development of solutions to issues that compromise attainment of agreed performance targetsAssist in the identification of potential hazardous site activities and ensure appropriate procedures and controls are implementedAssist with the design process to ensure the timeliness of the completion of drawings approved for constructionEnsure design is checked against capital budgets during design development, and documentationUndertake on-going ''fit for purpose'' and value engineering reviews to determine constructability of designDeliver projects so that they comply with and meet expectations from clients, communities, environmental management requirements and other legislative requirementsEnsure that all financial targets for project work are met without compromise to the programs environment, community and client satisfaction KPIsReview of subcontract progress claims and variations within limits of authorityWhat We OfferEmployee benefits including health and wellness initiativesAccess to Downer Group benefitsPersonalised career development and growth working with an industry leading team.Competitive remuneration packageSafety focused culture working within in leading services industryManagement support coupled with ongoing training and mentoringCareer enhancing opportunity to work within an ASX limited companyWhat Were Looking For3+ years project engineering experience within the water & or wastewater industry in SEQ.Degree qualification in civil or mechanical engineeringExperience managing subcontractors and developing scope of worksExperience in developing subcontract agreementsDemonstrated ability in financial management and reporting, including budgetingDemonstrated ability to develop and manage schedulesExperience in driving quality outcomes in project deliveryAbout Energy & UtilitiesDowner''s Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
