(Pro Rata) Academic Level C | $134,362 $154,558 p.a. (Pro Rata) The Practitioner Fellowship is a part-time fellowship for clinicians to engage in research related to their professional discipline. It targets high-achieving clinical researchers, providing dedicated research time and career development opportunities, enhancing competitiveness for external funding such as NHMRC Investigator Grants. The Associate Professor role involves making distinguished contributions through original research, securing external funding, publishing in high-quality journals, and delivering presentations nationally and internationally. The Senior Research Fellow (Practitioner Fellow) is responsible for conducting high-quality, ethical research, publishing regularly, securing grants, mentoring early-career researchers, and presenting research outcomes globally. About You You should have a PhD or equivalent in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery, or Allied Health, and be registered or eligible for registration with relevant Australian health authorities or be a registered art therapist or sonographer. Applicants should demonstrate an outstanding research record appropriate to their career stage, including high-quality publications, grant success, and leadership skills. For Associate Professor: Strong publication record with first or senior authorship and external grants as a lead investigator. Senior academic or research leadership experience, including project management. Established research collaborations nationally and internationally. Proven leadership and relationship-building skills. For Senior Research Fellow: Outstanding research record with publications and grants. Ability to develop and sustain research collaborations. Experience in delivering project targets timely. Independent judgment and initiative in research management.
