This role offers flexibility, including the possibility of 100% remote working and flexing working days, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking a work-life balance.Key Responsibilities:As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the premium collection and allocation processes for some of our more complex customer structures. You will work closely with our Underwriting team to ensure timely receipt and allocation of premiums to customer accounts in compliance with SLEs Credit Control Policy.Your duties will include:Premium Collection & Allocation: Manage premium collections and allocations for clients with complex policy and payment structures, working alongside UWs to ensure accurate and timely processing.Credit Control Oversight: Monitor and support the Accounts Assistant in maintaining compliance with SLEs credit control policies and procedures.Reporting: Prepare basic periodic and ad-hoc reports (e.g. debtor ageing, etc.) for the Finance Manager.Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in accounts receivable, ideally within the insurance industry, who thrives in a collaborative environment and can confidently make day-to-day decisions within established policies and guidelines.Key qualifications and skills include:5+ years of AR experience in the insurance industry or a related field.Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to handle day-to-day AR tasks autonomously while adhering to policy guidelines.Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external brokers to resolve AR issues and ensure smooth operations.Basic IT skills, including proficiency with Excel and familiarity with standard accounting systems.Why Join Us?Flexible working arrangement (remote work options and flexible scheduling).A collaborative and supportive environment with room for professional growth.Opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain exposure to complex client structures within the insurance industry.If you are an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with the right skills and a passion for delivering results, we would love to hear from you.
