headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 1225 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples'' wellbeing. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support, and alcohol and other drug services. The Role: headspace Port Augusta has an exciting role available delivering essential youth mental health services to its clients by road or flying with the RFDS service into remote communities. This role conducts psychosocial assessments with the young person and their support networks. Facilitating group activities and community engagement will be part of this role, engaging young people in mental health literacy. Able to work in a remote community setting and be sensitive to the needs of vulnerable groups. Qualifications in Social Work / Psychology / Mental Health Nursing / Occupational Therapy, or a tertiary qualification in Youth Work with mental health experience, or equivalent experience in a mental health setting.
