Description Lincoln Hospital Management/Leadership Req #: 28256 Summary: The Director of Clinical & Professional Development for the coastal region partners with regional CNOs and nurse executive teams to develop and facilitate strategic plans for clinical education departments. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Comprehensive knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, research, education, and developmental methodologies for professional advancement. A Master''s Degree in Nursing is required. License/Certifications: Current RN license in the State of Maine. Experience: Clinical experience and at least 5 years as an educator are required. Progressive experience as a Clinical Educator, including faculty responsibilities related to program and curriculum development. Understanding of organizational/systems theory, leadership development, and resource/performance management. Advanced analytical skills for designing, directing, and evaluating programs. Strong interpersonal skills for building cooperative relationships across disciplines and organizations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems and practice trends within and beyond Maine. Experience providing regionalized educational services. Experience in coalition building with health system partners.
