Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced clinician, this is an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organisation and grow within a supportive, values-based environment.Why work for us:- Competitive hourly rate: $55$65 per hour + superannuation and travel reimbursement.- Salary packaging options to increase take-home pay.- Inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and lived experience.- Ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.- Career progression pathways within a growing community-focused organisation.Although based at our head office in Bundoora, this role will require you to travel to and from client homes all across Melbourne.About the role and responsibilities- Perform comprehensive foot assessments to evaluate the condition of the feet, nails, skin, and circulatory health.- Diagnose and treat common podiatric conditions, including ingrown toenails, fungal infections, plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot issues, calluses, bunions, and corns.- Provide wound care for patients with diabetic ulcers or other foot wounds.- Develop individualised care plans based on patient needs, and collaborate with the Allied Health Team.- Educate patients and caregivers on foot care, injury prevention, and management of chronic conditions.- Prescribe orthotics, footwear recommendations, and physical therapy as necessary.- Monitor and document progress of treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including patient assessments, treatment plans and progress notes.- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to patient care, confidentiality, and documentation.Who Were Looking ForWe welcome applications from both newly graduated and experienced Podiatrists who demonstrate a commitment to client-centered care and cultural responsiveness.To be considered, you will need:- A bachelors degree in Podiatry (or completion by the time of appointment).- Current or eligible AHPRA registration.- Valid Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and respect for client autonomy, privacy, and cultural values.- For new graduates: a willingness to learn and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.- For experienced candidates: confidence in managing complex cases and mentoring others.How to ApplyTo express your interest in this opportunity, please submit your resume by following the Apply linkFor more information, contact our HR team on(03) 9318 1111.MCWA is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
