Our people and our valuesClient Driven, Responsible, Professional, and Cooperativeare at the core of our success.The role:Lead pioneering AI/ML & Data Engineering initiatives at an enterprise scale.Collaborate with C-level executives and global teams on high-impact transformation projects.Drive cloud innovation and shape the future of data-driven business strategies.Based in Sydney, this role reports to the GM, Technology, and is responsible for setting and executing Rabobanks ANZ Data & Analytics Platform strategy, delivering cloud-native data solutions, and leading digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Azure cloud computing, AI/ML, and data engineering, along with strategic leadership and financial acumen. You will lead teams of Engineering Managers, Architects, and Engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Manage the Rabobank ANZ Data & Analytics Platform (DAP) for sustainability, scalability, and financial viability.Develop AI/ML-driven analytics capabilities and integrate Generative AI solutions to enhance innovation and customer value.Architect and oversee Azure-based cloud data platforms for real-time and batch data processing at scale.Create metadata-driven frameworks for data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, streaming, and egress.Align data strategy with organizational goals through collaboration with executive stakeholders.Ensure compliance with data governance, risk management, and regulatory standards.Lead and mentor high-performance teams across Cloud Infrastructure, DevSecOps, MLOps, and DataOps disciplines.Qualifications:15+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, & Digital Transformation within complex, data-rich industries such as Banking, Telecommunications, Insurance, or e-Commerce.Proven experience in senior management roles.Strong background in Data Warehousing, NoSQL, big data architectures, and related technologies.Demonstrated skills in risk management, strategic planning, and financial oversight of large technology programs.Experience leading diverse teams across multiple regions and cultures.Our ValuesWe value inclusion, belonging, and positive experiences for all.
