As a team of two Deputies, each with their own portfolio, they provide medical leadership at the PAH, as well as supporting and representing the EDMS as required.We are Metro South HealthWe are the major public healthcare provider for Brisbane''s south side, Logan, Redlands and the Scenic Rim. We are better together.Join us at Metro South Health and be part of a world-class, dynamic and growing health service that embraces technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research and empowering our people to be the best in serving our community.Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will report directly to the EDMS at the PAH and will have two direct reports; Manager of Patient Safety and Quality and the Clinical Trials Governance ManagerAct as the expert resource for clinical leaders and executives in resolving complex, clinical, medicolegal, ethical, and operational challengesPromote and monitor quality and safety of service deliveryLead and engage with stakeholders from across the health service including consumers, clinicians, staff and pertner organisations to champion safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.Oversee the governance structures and processes around research and development activityLead and contribute to the development of planning and reporting frameworks that ensure clinical and corporate governance requirements are metWork with a multi-disciplinary tema to ensure adequate patient flow and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient flow processesProvide medical leadership and expertise in development, use and interpretation of clinical information systems to imporve delivery of medical careOur values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
