Position Details Position Number: 0064071 Location: Parkville Role Type: Full Time (1 FTE) (0.8 FTE /4 days per week considered), Fixed term for 5 years Department: Atlantic Fellows for Social Equity Salary: Senior Lecturer (Level C) or Associate Professor (Level D) About the AFSE The Atlantic Fellows for Social Equity (AFSE) is an Indigenous-led social change fellowship program established at The University of Melbourne in 2016, funded by the Atlantic Philanthropies. It supports social change leaders in Australia, Aotearoa, and the Pacific, grounded in Indigenous perspectives and community engagement. Role Responsibilities Provide academic leadership in curriculum development and the broader Fellowship program. Collaboratively design and deliver curricular and co-curricular programming that is contemporary and stakeholder-focused. Support collaborative research programs with AFSE Fellows and Partners. Work with the Executive Director as Deputy Director, overseeing program delivery, evaluation, and partner engagement. Support Fellows academically, including candidature management. Maintain relationships within the University and with the broader Atlantic Fellowship network. Candidate Profile Applicants should have academic expertise in program development and be outstanding teaching scholars capable of supporting research collaborations.
