Job Description This position involves executing technical and functional responsibilities related to Quality support activities on project assignments and administrative functions such as planning, organizing, interpreting, coordinating, and executing division or project assignments. The role may serve as the Office Quality Manager for a Major Execution Office or the Project Quality Manager for medium- to large-sized projects, if necessary. Communicate effectively at all levels to maintain liaison with individuals and units within or outside the department or project structures. Employ decision-making authority and recommendations that significantly impact regional or business line Quality policies and programs. Serve as the project Quality Representative on medium to large projects, if necessary. Prepare project audit schedules, discipline activity plans for the quality function, and audit reports (internal and external), noting non-conformances and verifying effective corrective action. Assist in developing an orientation program to ensure project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan, including other Quality matters if required. Act as lead Quality auditor and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Job Requirements Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fourteen years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eighteen years if non-degreed. Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines. Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and efficient manner. Preferred Qualifications Engineering/technical degree or equivalent preferred. Advanced degree in engineering or technical field, or administration preferred. Auditor certification by an outside agency (e.g., RAB, ASQ, IQA) preferred. Internal Lead Auditor certification required. Twelve years of related Quality/project experience preferred. Good interpersonal, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
