In January 2021, there was a need to respond to the challenges the COVID pandemic brought to communities and charitable organisations. TEAM LEWIS saw that support was crucial and change was needed to make that happen. Our local causes scheme was launched. Every member of TEAM LEWIS can nominate a local cause close to their heart to receive a cash donation. In addition, nominated causes can also benefit from a donation in kind of expertise, time, and resources. In the past year TEAM LEWIS has donated almost $2million to 445 causes around the world.TEAM LEWIS is looking for an ambitious professional to drive the establishment, development and evolution of its Media Buying practice in Australia. The role will be responsible for promoting and selling Media Buying Services to existing and new clients and sectors in Australia. The person in the role will act as the face of the offering in the market, leading on the marketing and selling of this new practice.The role will focus on building out a media planning, buying, and optimisation service for TEAM LEWIS in Australia. The focus will be on delivering fluent, fast-moving, and high-impact media strategies to new business prospects and existing clients to secure additional revenue and expand the agencys reach. This role is about anticipating trends before they happen, ensuring clients own moments instead of reacting to them, and embracing AI-powered media intelligence to unlock unprecedented strategic advantage.As the founding employee of the offering in Australia, the role will require an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to take the lead on establishing and growing the practice area locally, with close support for the Australia senior leadership team and relevant colleagues across the APAC region.Key responsibilities and tasksCommercial Business DevelopmentDevelop and deliver a TEAM LEWIS media proposition that will differentiate the agency and drive revenue growthLead the new business process for media buying services, setting the strategy for targeting prospects and securing opportunitiesBuild and nurture relationships with senior prospect decision makers, key intermediaries and influencers to deliver new clients and revenueWork with Marketing on lead generation campaigns; able to quickly grow and profitably run a business unit, astutely managing the commercials and delivering a top-drawer service to retain and grow clientsProven success in differentiating and growing a proposition in market; adept at working in an environment that does not yet have full infrastructure in placeSkilled in driving high-impact media strategies that merge creativity, technology and dataExpertise in B2B and B2C media strategy and planning; experience in tech, healthcare, public sector is a plusDeep understanding of AI-powered media intelligence, audience behaviour, performance analyticsMastery of omnichannel media planning, with fluency in:Offline media: local TV, print, radio, OOHAbility to navigate rapid media shifts, ensuring clients remain ahead of market changes;
