Leading Destination in the marketOur client is a highly regarded, award-winning national law firm.The opportunityThis opportunity is based in Melbourne where you will work on a wide range of construction related disputes, collaborating with a diverse set of clients, including major domestic and international insurers, engineering consultants, and architects.As a Special Counsel or Senior Associate, youll report directly to a Partner, taking a leading role in the management of litigation and handling diverse client matters within the construction insurance space.Key Responsibilities:Advise insurers on professional indemnity and construction policiesManage day-to-day litigation, including document handling, correspondence, and court attendancesPrepare briefs for Counsel, retain expert witnesses, and manage witness statementsMaintain client communications and portalsLead client workshops on construction insuranceMentor junior lawyers and assist with business developmentExceptional Legal Professional RequiredYou will have:PQE5+ years in construction litigation (insurance experience a plus)Strong communication skills and a focus on successful outcomesOrganized and effective file management and billing skillsA client focus with experience building strong relationshipsA passion for mentoring and continuous improvementBenefits include:Flexibility to work between home and the officeUp to five weeks of paid annual leave plus a wellness dayAllowance for home office and wellness expensesAccess to discounts on tech products #J-18808-Ljbffr
