Join us at AirTrunk, where the cloud meets the ground.Position SnapshotAs Project Director reporting to the Development Manager, you will:Lead AirTrunks program management team in Melbourne during our expansionCollaborate with partners and customers on scope and design for office and data hall fit-outsSupport the Development Manager and senior management with client proposals and project transitionsBuild strong partnerships with general contractors and key vendorsDaily ResponsibilitiesManage construction activities for new builds and fit-outs, overseeing scope, safety, quality, timeline, and budgetProvide leadership for project management teamsCoordinate with internal teams and senior management on project proposalsEnsure project milestones and contractual obligations are metAct as the main contact for development-related issuesEngage regularly with contractors and suppliers to ensure outcomesInfluence internal stakeholders to meet development objectivesManage project risks and implement mitigation strategiesReview electrical and mechanical system designs for constructabilityDevelop project scope, equipment needs, and support proposals and CAPEX requestsTrack project progress, safety, quality, and costsOversee tender processes and evaluate bidsManage project costs, including reporting and vendor claimsCoordinate project handover to operationsCollaborate with operations during constructionContribute to process improvementsRequirements15+ years of large-scale construction experienceBachelors degree in engineering or construction management (preferred)Experience with data centre or hyperscale/cloud providers in APACFlexible, forward-thinking, results-oriented, and proactiveOur CultureAt AirTrunk, youll accelerate your career while helping shape the regions digital future.
