The ideally candidate will be studying their CA/CPA or have plans to commence. The office is conveniently located in Martin Place right next to Martin Place Station.About The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager and working collaboratively among a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:Post bank statement entries into accounting system accurately.Manage customer refunds, including GST and other refunds with proper approval.Manage Accounts Payable processes, including invoice verification, posting, and timely payment.Perform daily cost accounting in accounting system and check and resolve any posting errors.Assist in month-end closing processes and preparation of accounts payable reports.Act as back up for Finance team, filing and other financial administrative tasks as required to contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.About You:At least six months experience in related accounting roles (internship experience considered)Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related fieldIdeally studying or planning to study a CA/CPA qualificationExperience with large accounting software such as SAP, would be an added advantageExcellent attention to detail and accuracyWell-developed numerical, written and communication skills and the ability to actively and accurately listen to all partiesAdditional BenefitsClose knit, collaborative and friendly team environmentOpportunity for growth and progressionClose to Public TransportHow to Apply:To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
