Assisting our client in achieving their construction planning goals is at the core of the role. The consultant role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from Tier 1 contractors to small start-ups. You will work with a diverse team of experts and appreciate consultant-based work. Improving cross-sales opportunities and identifying other service needs our clients may have is also expected.Reports to:State ManagerResponsibilities and DutiesCreate professional-looking schedules/programmes using building logic and demonstrate practical experience in MS Project, Powerproject, and Primavera.Apply understanding of Australian building work practices and on-site conditions to client programs.Demonstrate exceptional time management skills specifically relating to multiple stakeholder management.Ability to work in a team environment to accept and delegate work as required, which is critical in a consulting environment.Regular onsite visits to building sites that require status reporting.Understanding and compliance with the Solid Support Systems (SSS) and the ability to maintain and improve processes to meet the required standard.Knowledge and SkillsAdvanced knowledge of project management software and programming logic, including extensive practical experience in MS Project, Powerproject and Primavera.Advanced knowledge of Australian building work practices and site procedures.Qualifications and RequirementsDegree / Diploma qualified in Engineering, Building or Construction Project Management.Have a general understanding of commercial or residential building projects or experience in a similar role.Consulting experience in a time billing role is desirable.MUST have full/unrestricted working rights in Australia already.
