With proven experience throughout the project lifecycle, we collaborate with local communities and customers to lead the transition to a clean energy future.We are 100% Australian owned, with 1.1 GW of renewable energy in operation and a development pipeline of 20 GW.We are committed to advancing our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan as part of our ongoing reconciliation efforts.The RoleReporting to the Head of Gas Portfolio, the Graduate Energy Market Analyst will help optimize the performance and value of Squadron Energy''s natural gas and renewable energy portfolios.Your main responsibilities include analyzing and monitoring the operational and financial performance of the natural gas portfolio, including the Port Kembla Energy Terminal, customer and supply positions, and LNG market dynamics.You will also support analysis and insights across the renewable energy portfolio, including wind, solar, and storage assets, contributing to informed decision-making and risk mitigation.This role may require travel to different locations to engage with broader teams and stakeholders.We seek a motivated candidate passionate about the energy industry, quick to learn, and confident to develop their career.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in evaluating the financial performance of natural gas assets, supply, transport, and storage arrangements, and customer agreements.Support the preparation of financial models, forecasts, and reports for projects and the overall portfolio.Conduct customer load analysis and help develop pricing structures aligned with the Pricing Methodology.Contribute to developing the Pricing Methodology and new product offerings.Help refine asset strategies and long-term plans for the portfolio.Engage with cross-functional teams to assess market trends, technological advances, and regulatory changes to inform strategies.About YouYou will have:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, or FinanceKnowledge of the energy industry and the domestic gas marketUnderstanding of the Australian Electricity Market (NEM)Ability to create models for various market and operational scenariosStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with teamwork abilityExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience with Python, SQL, APIs, or willingness to learn these skillsWhats on OfferEnjoy a competitive remuneration package, benefits, training, career development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements.
