Be a trusted advisor to clients and a leader to our practice management team.What You Will Be DoingUnderstand business trajectory, sales pipeline, and backlog to produce a monthly weighted forecast for the Public Sector Industry in collaboration with the business.Identify risks & opportunities to forecast and guide business teams to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.Manage monthly financial reporting, including key drivers of actuals vs forecast/budget for executive management, in partnership with FP&A and finance stakeholders.Provide timely inputs to FP&A to support forecasting, closing processes, and ad hoc requests.Lead margin improvement initiatives with business/delivery teams.Implement cost control activities across the business.Develop analytics to identify problem areas and opportunities, and devise action plans.Review and analyze Free Cash Flow monthly to identify improvement areas.Proactively seek process improvements.Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles in reporting.Support new business initiatives, including collaborating with the pricing team on historic data and deal insights.Ensure deals are signed at appropriate margins and financial metrics to meet budget targets.Align early with sales teams to optimize commercial outcomes.The Skills You Will BringSuccessful track record in a similar role, preferably in large service businesses or with Public Sector clients.Degree in Finance with CPA/CA qualification.Proven team management skills, including managing virtual teams.Strong forecasting, risk mitigation, and financial goal achievement skills.Ability to build strong relationships within the business and support their goals.You must be an Australian citizen eligible for security clearance at the required level.
