As South Australia''s number one Toyota dealer we pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service while providing an excellent working environment with an enviable culture.About the roleLeading the senior management team, you will be involved in strategic business planning, and as such will need to be a strong communicator and people leader who can build relationships and convey information to staff at all levels within the business, including the parent company (CMV) and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the general management of the CMI Toyota and Lexus business divisions whilst providing strategic leadership, ensuring that business objectives related to safety, efficiency, quality, and profitability are consistently met.Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.Plan, budget, and schedule all controllable resources to achieve maximum operational efficiency.Promote continuous improvement and adaptability, implementing new processes as appropriate.Drive business growth through client engagement, strategic planning and market analysis.Actively participate in identifying new business opportunities.Observe, direct and correct operating behaviour of employees under supervision to ensure safe work practices.Facilitate communication and teamwork across all organisational levels.Represent the company in external meetings and engagements as required.Key Requirements for the role:Minimum 5 years experience in a similar leadership role.Experience in the automotive industry or related retail industry is preferred but not essential.Tertiary qualifications in business or related field preferred.Ability for regular interstate and international travel.Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills.Computer/IT literate - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and report writing.Proven P&L management experience and financial reporting capability.Strong understanding of contract, commercial, and operational management.Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously and within deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Demonstrated ability in delivering exceptional HSE standards.High-level stakeholder management skills and commercial acumen.Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage contractual issues.BenefitsAn attractive salary package on offer based on skillset and experience.Friendly and highly supportive team.Based in the Adelaide CBD, working in modern premises with free onsite parking.Fully maintained company vehicle.Corporate insurance discounts, paid parental leave, Christmas hampers, annual staff dinners and other wellness offerings.Invitations to exclusive events including AFL Grand final, Melbourne Cup, various gala dinners.Ongoing professional development opportunities.Potential relocation assistance if required.If this sounds like you and youd like more information and/or a confidential conversation please contact Paula Turbill (0412 850 940 or paula.turbill@egmpartners.com.au).
