The EO is accountable for profitability, compliance, and the development of the home''s services to meet the organisation''s strategic plan.Small Residential Aged Care FacilityFull-Time Permanent roleCompetitive salary starting at $155,000 - $170,000 plus superSalary packaging up to $18,550Flexible working arrangements: 5 days/38 hours, 4-day week, or 9-day fortnightFREE Accommodation provided during the contract or option to work onsite Monday to Friday and go home for the weekendThe Role:Work closely with the finance manager, village coordinator, catering, cleaning, maintenance, supervisors, and quality coordinatorBring leadership and innovative thinking to continually improve aged care outcomesMaintain an exceptional understanding of the Aged Care Standards and regulatory requirementsProvide resident-focused, person-centered care services with resident consentLead operational functions, develop management strategies, and systems to meet quality standards and complianceOversee asset protection, maintenance, and infrastructure upgradesAttend Board and Committee meetingsProactively manage liquidity risk aligned with the Board''s vision and strategiesEnsure high standards of care, safety, cultural appropriateness, and dignity in aged careDetermine and implement best practice HR management and staff developmentPromote ongoing professional development and a positive, inclusive work environmentManage business performance, financial planning, and strategic initiativesUnderstand IT solutions and manage associated risks to improve efficiency and communicationImplement risk management and quality control systemsBuild a skilled, committed, and caring workforce, inspiring staff engagementProvide organisational leadership, including workforce planning, retention, and delegationCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and funding bodiesDevelop systems for risk monitoring and continuous improvementSupport governance practices, management reporting, and complianceMaintain knowledge of policies, protocols, and quality standardsEngage in strategic thinking, planning, and critical analysis to drive future growthThe Successful Candidate:Demonstrated senior leadership experience in a rural aged care environment; tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Health, or related field is essentialProven track record of leading a high-performing businessAbility to lead, empower, and develop a team providing exceptional client-focused careExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience collaborating with Boards to establish strategic and business goalsSenior-level financial management skills, including budget analysis and reportingStrong strategic, critical thinking, and planning capabilities to respond to changing trends and future directionsHow do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.What can I earn as a Chief Executive Officer? #J-18808-Ljbffr
