Company DescriptionDetails about the company.Job DescriptionCommercial and Financial Assurance Consultant - Project and Program DeliveryThis is an early career opportunity targeting those with relevant academic backgrounds.Location: MelbourneOur Project and Program Delivery team offers multidisciplinary planning, design, and delivery services across all phases of the project lifecycle, from visioning to delivery.We provide clients with integrated project management, PMO, project controls, project delivery, planning, design, contract compliance, and assurance advice using data-driven tools and methodologies, along with practical project support services.Your OpportunityThe Melbourne infrastructure and project assurance team are expanding, offering multiple opportunities for new consultants.Our Commercial and Financial Assurance team specializes in delivering audit, assurance, control, and advisory services for major projects across the energy, water, and transport sectors nationally.This team works closely with both clients and contractors involved in major infrastructure projects and comes from backgrounds including:Internal auditIndependent financial auditProject assuranceRisk managementContract assuranceContracts administrationProject controlsProject cost controlHow are you extraordinary?You will bring recent experience in delivering client-side, government, or advisory contract audit, contract assurance, or control services across infrastructure projects or capital-intensive industries.You are passionate about providing real-time, objective feedback on contractual compliance, financial control, cost management, project controls, and risks.You can review programs, identify and manage risks, support procurement, understand approvals, and communicate updates to stakeholders.You understand client problems and can help mitigate risks during project delivery.Your ExperienceAt KPMG, we value diversity of thought, background, and experience.
