Join us as a Visitor Economy Lead at Penrith City CouncilPenrith City Council is seeking a proactive and strategic Visitor Economy Lead to drive growth in the region''s visitor economy, leveraging the upcoming opening of the Western Sydney International Airport in late 2026. This role involves leading initiatives aligned with the Penrith Visitor Economy Strategy 2023-2030 and collaborating with various stakeholders to attract investment and increase visitation.Key Responsibilities:Lead and implement actions from the Visitor Economy Strategy 2023-2030.Build and maintain strategic alliances with local businesses, councils, and government agencies.Contribute to broader economic development and marketing outcomes.Minimum Qualifications and Skills:Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Tourism, or related field.Experience in project delivery, content creation, online marketing, and content scheduling.Strong administrative, customer service, and time management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Knowledge of EEO and WHS principles.Salary: $112,849 - $130,626 per annum + 11.5% superannuation.Application Process: Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and comprehensive responses to the selection criteria by the deadline.
