We are currently recruiting experienced and qualified Blaster Painters to join our manufacturing team in Pakenham VIC.What we do:- Steel railings- Stainless Steel constructions- Glass BalustradesThe successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:- Operate abrasive blasting machinery and maintaining the equipment.- Clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings.- Operate various equipment, such as blast pots and spray guns- Knowledge of various painting methods and applications- Sandblasting, abrasive and chemical techniques, masking and etching of applications.- Ability to read and interpret blueprint, sketches and drawings- Safe operation of tools and equipment- Grinding, sanding and polishing of steel- Understanding of painting, caulking and sealing and putting them in to practice- Ability to apply all types of coatings using various application methodsSkills & Abilities :- Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application or relevant- Ideally have 3 years experience within relevant or similar field- Ability to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experienceSeveral Full-time Positions availableApplications open 5th May of 2025 and closes on 5th June of 2025.If you are interested in this role APPLY now.
