Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityThe Assistant Leading Hand is responsible for assisting their shift Leading Hand to oversee all activities and persons within the production hall. They report directly to the shift Leading Hand and work closely with and are accountable to the site Quality Officer.Hours of work: 15:00 to 23:00 Mon-FriPosition Responsibilities:Assigning and coordinating tasks for the shift production team.Machine operation; ensuring machines operate efficiently and produce conforming products.Conducting product testing and making necessary process adjustments based on test results.Ensuring all operations comply with WHS requirements.Ensuring all operations meet Food Safety standards.Maintaining quality standards in all operations.Your skills and experienceAs an experienced Machine Operator, you are self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. You should also possess:Previous machine operation experience (blow moulding experience preferred but not essential).Mechanical aptitude.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems at the root cause, making minor machine adjustments with small hand tools.Strong focus on safety and process improvement methodologies.A commitment to quality.Results-driven attitude.Good written and verbal communication skills.Solid understanding of HACCP and GMP standards.Reliability, punctuality, and availability to work weekends.Current NSW forklift license or willingness to obtain one.Additional InformationAbout usOur vision is to lead the circular economy through packaging, reuse, and recycling solutions.
